a: in the sense of being given money to perform an illegal act abusing my position, no. several reasons can be found for this: for example, i'm not in any position to abuse to start with, so it's kind of easy. in the sense of moral corruption, yes, i think so: rejection (and i'm not talking about yesterday's bad date, more of past and more serious rejections) sort of turned me more selfish and ruthless than i might have been.

a: as a rule, their efforts to provide their children with the same amount of material goods they consume for themselves goes completely unnoticed. it's a tough job and it should be appreciated more. too many people whine about their parents giving them too much money and too little attention - try doing without money and tell me if you can live on affection alone. and try to break your back yourself to buy what they're buying you.
