New to PP

I'm new to Prog Power this year, as well.
Although I have been a prog rocker for a few years now.
I just didn't know about the big show. I am sooo looking forward to it.

Is a corset mandatory on friday night?

And no, a corset is not mandatory, but many of the girls wear corsets on Friday night. I've personally been thinking about wearing an Evergrey shirt that night this year, but who knows? Bands should start making corsets with their logo on them, just so I can wear a corset on Friday night and still support my favorite bands. Haha! I can only dream. :Smug: :Smokin:

Corset is not mandatory on Fri., but some of us with "less-than-corset" anatomy have come up with creative alternatives. It's all fun btw; it's a side benefit at ProgPower that fashion experimentation is totally free and all good!!!

Sooo true. There are much bigger fests, but none that have consistently run so smoothly and have drawn such strong talent.

Man, I am going to have to hang with you this year....

Stay away from the Granada Hotel after-show parties. You won't get back(read: find your way back) to your room until 6 in the morning. Then, someone will call you wanting to go get something to eat at the Vortex, but you'll be so hungover that you can barely move...much less eat. Because of your vulnerable state(read: hungover like a bastard), you will be coerced into participating in some rather embarrasing photos involving a pink boa.

...um, not that this has ever happened to me, ever...really...never.

Actually, something in fuscia, or maybe a salmon, would bring out the color of my eyes. Though, I could be totally wrong on both accounts. I'm not sure if I'm an Autumn, or a Summer.

Bring the boa and I'll wear it to the pre-party. That should make me easy to spot.

One thing i've learned...Don't take the weather forgranted. It seems like since PPIII there are hurricanes to compliment ProgPower. PP usually hits just about the time Storm Named 'I' or 'J' or 'K' comes through. Plan ahead...seriously. it's better to be a day early than a day late being stuck on the tarmac or traintracks or worse-in the air.
