Man that's how you know it's still going to be a while. They usually put something out. Even if it's a few seconds. They have something for Justice to hear but the album is so far away there's nothing for us.

Yeah I don't think he has fully considered just how much fun it could be. I'd even be willing to take the room with the grand piano, even though there is no price on that room, just so that he had something to do, but nooooo he's not bloody interested!

Oh ok cool. I really didn't remember lol. I only remember when the first song came out. I hope they drop something, anything in the next month. Oh I do remember Alex showing a piece of a solo. That would be cool if he did that again.

I was trying to remember if the solo was from Testament or something else he was doing. But either way I agree they should show us something just to prove they are recording.

Atrophy posted a message weeks ago to show they were in the studio, they also promised an MP3 to follow, but so far there has been nothing. Testament should not take notice of that method of clip release.

Unfortunately Testament doesn't do much in the way of promotion. Not much in the way of making of clips no real documentaries. It's unfortunate they don't do a lot to create buzz...other than awesome music that is lol. I would love a proper doc with history and making of clips, interviews and all that.

Yeah I don't know what they release on FB, I keep meaning to check out their page but never get around to it.

Oh right! FB lol. Hmm I don't either of course. But I think Neptune keeps up on all that and would have posted.

I just had a look at their page and apart from the update with Chuck and Zetro on the studio we saw last week there is something about sponsoring some kid on a motorbike and something from Metal Allegiance in Jan, otherwise very little.

I think it's on the Exodus page at the moment. Chuck at least posted something on Testament last week, although Chuck's own page hasn't been posted on since 2017 from memory.

What bugs me about using FB to keep up to date is how few bands actually use to to communicate.
I understand that replying to followers comments can lead to word wars and dick swinging contests, look at Sebastian Bach who loves to reply to social media, but no response is just as annoying.
Hatriot posted a message in January saying they were releasing something this year and the question "where would you like us to play". There is 150 responses and not one of them is from the band suggesting they'd be happy to play there.
Overkill post messages like "who's buying the new album" and then respond to none of it.
So many bands get questions from fans that go ignored yet they always want fans to interact with them. Seems to me that the bands need to learn how to use the tools properly or don't use them.

Yeah agree, it seems like at first all these bands took advantage of directly interacting with fans and being able to do easy cheap promotion. But it seems to have faded for most. Devin Townsend on the other hand..I get like two emails a day saying he posted a new youtube video lol.
It seems like some of these bands only have one person that really knows how to use or will use the tools and the other guys just let it slide.
Some of these bands could really benefit from these things. Or maybe they don't and that's why it's not happening. Or it's just not what they expected.
Personally I think the effort would pay off. Even maybe stopping by their own forums every now again just to say hey. But what do I know?
