Among the Horrors
You know the drill. The SB is over and we don't even have the Pro Bowl afterwards to look forward to (but does anyone even watch it?). Probably ought to be dispensed with.

Anyway: I do not follow NCAA football so I am not familier with top draft prospects, so if KD or anyone else wants to do some Mock drafting, no time like the present.

This year could also be a very interesting offseason due to cap situation.

It's going to be a interesting year for sure.I bet we will hear people saying Cowboys and Redskins buy their championship if they win the Super Bowl, and calling teams like the Lions the Pirates of football. This no cap will be great for the big market teams, but bad for the small market teams.
It's despressing to see stuff like this in baseball, even though I am a fan of the Red Sox,a big market team.

I expect GB to win the division assuming Favre retires, and maybe even if he doesn't, and to contend in the playoffs. However, there are enough positives about Dallas for me to be a homer for 2010.

I like the Saints shot to make another deep playoff run but there are some issues that must be addressed first.

We NEED CB depth. Absolutely fucking completely need it. We're not surviving like we did this season with our two 2 (and at times 3) CBs being out.

Greer and Porter are a great duo, but below them (well mostly below Gay its kind of bad.) Jenkins is not our answer at CB, he's going to be a great safety though.

We also could use some OL depth.

BUT the one position I think that needs upgrading more than anything is the OLB area.

I mean honestly if there were some way we could trade up to nab Eric Berry I'd fucken hope the FO does it, but for now I'd be content with taking the best available OLB or even OT or maybe another stud DT to compliment Ellis.

Already moving on to 2010...alrighty then. If my post is the last one for NFL 2009 thread (@ Mort)...then I'll be honored and very giddy.:)

The Vikings will contend, assuming Favre plays another year or we trade for another competent quarterback. Needless to say, we'll find a way to blow it, once again.

bills will in the bottom 5 of the NFL, and will probably have the same QB and keep Lynch which is no surprise I guess being a Bills fan

GB v Dallas in the championship game. And I am now rooting against the Colts because I'm tired of seeing them do well all the time. Pass some wins around plz.
