Also, football would be ruined without a salary cap. Teams have a much better chance at improving and the playing field is much more even in football compared to baseball. That is the MLB's major flaw.

It already happen.Now we will see people like Jerry Jones getting all the best players where the William Clay Ford Jr and his team becomes the Pirates of the NFL.

It hasn't already happened yet. I'd be willing to see a full year strike to preserve the cap. The profit is already enormous anyway, I can't see how the owners could be upset about anything.
