Official 2011 NON-Metal Thread - Hipsters Unite

Radiohead

Not even March yet and already three 8.5+ albums out. It's gonna be a good year.

Listen, there probably isn't a bigger Radiohead fanboi on here than me but this album is simply not very good at all.

Don't tell me what's "simply" good or not good, fool!

OBLIGATORY RADIOHEAD ALBUM RANKING POST:

1. Kid A 9.5/10
2. The Bends 9.5/10
3. OK Computer 9/10
4. In Rainbows 9/10
5. The King Of Limbs 8.5/10
6. Amnesiac 8.5/10
7. Hail To The Thief 7.5/10

Yeah, that seems about right....

I never did get into Radiohead. Pablo Honey came out when I was in high school and I thought it was crap. Never listened to anything after that.

Not a band I'm into all that much, but good to see you doing your bit for the Australian music scene. I do remember hearing a couple of good tracks off the album when it was recently featured though.

You've seriously never heard In Ghost Colours?!? Fantastic sun-drenched pop album that flows like a dance mix. Hell, it was recorded/released by DFA, James Murphy's label (you're also into LCD, right?). The new one is a lot more of an "album-album" than a collection of standout tracks, but I can't decide which I prefer.

EDIT: oh, maybe I misread your post and you have heard it???

Kid A for me and that's it. The albums before have aged horribly and what came after has no replay value.

Then again, I want to punch Yorke in the face when I see that clip.

It's supposed to be music, guys :puke:

You guys should be like me and stick to the basics. Fuck this alternative, indie, artcore, fagcore, whatevercore bullshit
