Yes, I was watching the Colbert Report and the TV just flickered off. Wasn't a power outage because nothing else went off. My father inspected it and it smelt of burnt plastic.

And about fucking time too. At last we can get one of those wall-mount flatscreens instead of this 15-year old giant black cube.

I had a fifteen year old plastic cube, but it exploded also. During an enormous power outage a few years ago (actually the year of the damn blizzard) The room went completely dark and you just could see a giant blue spark. That was the end of that.
