Hah hah... thanks for all the compliments... The doughnut pancake tower is called Kransekake and it is amazingly good, a celebration for our arrival. Yes, I did go to several stave churches when we driving to Sweden, and I went to a sweet all metal music store in the Oslo city center, got a few Cd's i've wanted for a while... unfortunately I was only in Norway for about 12 days (four on arrival, the last 8 days at the end of the trip)

The bulk of the journey was in Sweden, and I stopped off to visit my mother for a week in England... It was a good experience though... next time i'm in Norway I plan to stay longer. If anyone's interested I have a bunch more pictures from this trip
