Speaking of other forums, and the discussion in the "music you like" thread (in which my n00bness was discussed briefly), I am reminded of what first got me interested in metal.

edit: I say "was" as if the guy is dead. Well, maybe he is. But I'll bet he's still alive, and it's likely he still enjoys metal.
