Austrian Blech Machine
fuck this, it's all about "Straight Through The Heart". Easily one of the most nut-crushing riffz ever recorded.

Sloan speaks the truth again.
A legend is back.
lol, just for a an hour or two, i haven't had INTERNET again since january. it totally blows, i'm always afraid to stop by here becase it would take so long to catch up, but i was really looking for some drum samples and shit since i had that horrendous hard drive crash last year and it wiped out everything. fukc.
anyway, we need to bring some different DIO MAGIC to the forefront, like temple of the king.

All 3 singers, tried to edit it as friendly as possible, also tried to give everyone the time to shine...
Volumewise it's still all over the place, now it's pretty much compressed, I'll ease that and automate the volume by hand to fit in the different parts when we have decided on how to do it.
Cheers
WOWWWWWWW!! LOVE IT!
In the adlibs at the end there are parts sung together where each one of us is kind of singing freely and that sounds awesome! It gives the impression all three singers are standing together in front of the mic. Johnny and your sweetheart both did a great job!
In the parts where there are multivoiced parts there are some timing issues here and there ("race for the morning", "gotta get away, get away", "between the velvet lies" (first time), "jump on a tiger", "some light", *after solo* "like in the blue coming after you"), and on some of them I think one should be put as lead and others as backing singers a few more dB:s quieter.
PS: the tambourines and synths are almost perfect now! Except during the end of the solo you could maybe turn down the synths like just a little, like -0.5dB to -2dB, so that they don't overpower the lead guitars. Or just turn up the lead guitars
that's the volume issus I was talking about....its a bit overpowered when all the 3 lead tracks are audible, gotta turn the panned ones a bit down on that parts.
I can try to edit them a bit more for tightness, but I guess I left them there because it sounded strange when I did more.
Gonna turn down the synths at this part
Hey dude, sorry if my solo's are causing you issues, want me to re track them? I may actually have some time to in the next day or so. Maybe
Great work
Without being a part of this DIO threads (first look today) it feels like the woman vox isn't as good as the male singers, i would edit her out of the song. And perhaps have one vox when the singers hit the high note (time to shine) and give them one high note each, if you get what i mean??
Thanks for checking it out, I disagree about the female vox + and think the high ones are good the way they are
Ok thats cool
Its awesome that these threads can be made a reality, and people joining
Gonna take a listen when its done / Cheers
