I fucking LOVED Vulgar Display Of Power when it came out, as did every metal fan I knew. And we were all fully into death & thrash metal at the time. It was without a doubt an important and influential album. Revisionist history metal buffs can blame it on the downfall of metal until the cows come home for all I care.
