The metro is probably what I will end up doing, I just have a slight fear of public transportation.
I'll be flying in around noon as well. I wanted to make sure I'm not wandering around downtown Maryland for a few hours alone.. that would be lame.

edit: One of the bands is called WacoJesus. That is fucking priceless. That has to be one of my favorite band names ever. It's a little cooler for me,too because Waco is only like 30 miles from here.

Hm... I think it's common to be given two keys for a one-room place. He should probably call ahead of time and ask for more. Otherwise, we'll just have to designate one or two Masters of the Keys.

Poo... new problem. Not a big one, but I just remembered that my phone only works in the DFW area. Hmm... I'm gonna have to see if I can borrow my GF's or something.

I won't get lost, I'm pretty good with directions, so I'll just get them off googlemaps. I will need a phone, though, so I can meet up with someone to get me into the room.

i dislike public trans too. but ive used the baltimore metro in the past, and its pretty alright

yeah, ive asked for multiple keys. but here's the rub, there is a max occupancy on the room, which we will ofcourse blow right through. so asking for 10 keys isnt gonna work. so my plan is to have a couple people have a key (me being one of them), and if you wanna run back to the room for a little bit you can either borrow it or go with someone who has one. i'll be at the show the entire time (since i'm writing a review for it). i have no problem lending my key, but i swear to satan if anyone steals anything/makes a ruckus and gets us caught with 324735854 people in the room, i'm gonna kick your fucking ass.

and besides, there is plenty to do outside the venue as well, with food vendors and what not. so unless you wanna nap during and awesome fest, get laid, or drop off the assload of merch you plan on purchasing, i cant imagine there are many reasons to go back anyways!

I really hope we don't get some surprise call/visit by the hotel staff, whereupon they discover a shitload of people in the room. That would really suck. Anyone have any ideas for what we should do about that possibility?

It sounds like everyone is agreed to this but we should have a no drinking/smoking/partying etc. rule for the hotel. The fest is fun enough.

yeah, for dropping off bags and stuff we can meet up at the hotel lobby or somthin. perhaps once people find out, they can post what time they plan on arriving.

but alas, there is a problem. i dont know what any of you look like! but i imagine you all know what i look like by now. so maybe its not an issue. but i'll prolly be wearin my patch vest.
