I love these guys! Just listening to Deadwing and bout to drop my jaw in amazement for the 759536846 time, sorry but i had to get it out, this band is fucking fantastic, and so is all their albums, I love you Steven, marry me! I hope to see PT live sometime, but they dont tour that much do they? They should hook up with Opeth again and do a world tour. Yes there have been a mil threads bout this band, but you simply cannot get enough of this guy!

i wasnt really expecting anything big when i heard about deadwing, but it just blew me away when i first heard it, i never thought i should say this but it may the best album they have put out along with the sky moves sideways.

Arriving Somewhere & Glass Arm Shattering are the only tracks on Deadwing I like now. I liked the rest on first listen then got bored of them very quickly. In comparison to the rest of PT's stuff its a very lacklustre album imo.

+1, trains is the best song on the album, defnitely one of my top 100 songs ever.

i feel deadwing has better songs than in absentia, but in absentia is a much better record.

And for the original poster. i have an idea! why don't you create an "Opeth" thread, i've heard some people here like those guys
