Porcupine Tree

Listened to Deadwing today !

What a smooth fucking cool album !!!

Can't wait for their DVD !!!

In Absentia is still their Magnum opus but I really love Lightbulb Sun ( Hate Song, Russia on Ice, She's Moved On rule )!

porcupine tree? never heard of em. what album should i start with

I've still yet to check out PT outside of In Absentia and Deadwing, aside from a few random songs... I haven't really been too motivated to

Signify is just :hypno: .

But really good in my opinion.

I love Porcupine Tree, but I need to get a hold of some of their earlier stuff. All i've heard is Signify, In Absentia, and Deadwing. all of them I love so dearly.

Trains and Hearattack in a Layby are 2 of the greatest tracks ever.

If you're into like.. more space rock/progressive mellow music, check out The Sky Moves Sideways. Up the Downstair is quite progressive I guess you could say. There really aren't a lot of great tracks on their first album. Nine Cats, Radioactive Toy, Footprints... too name a few.

All of PT's albums are really good albums, imo. Stupid Dream, Lightbulb Sun, and even Recordings are just as good overall albums as Deadwing, Signify, In Absentia.

In Absentia is still the best overall album I think they've put together.

It really depends on the mood your in, as to which album to dive into.

i have plenty of motivation... just not for PT right now, as much as i like them, they're very good, but aren't exactly mind blowing, hence the lower priority
