Thanks for the effort ... That target price you've mentioned would be more in line with what seems fair. $139 sounds about right.Hey guys/gals,
I have a call in to Residence Inn to see ifwe can get some rate decrease consideration since we can pretty much guarantee them full occupancy if they are closer to the rates they had last year. If I am not mistaken a few people got moved elsewhere because they were completely booked last year correct? At this rate (with their new price) they won't have squat this year from us.
I'll let you know if it works out. What price point do you all feel comfortable paying, realising that it will be a bit more than last year? I know I had paid $129 night for the "studio" I think they call it. Would $139-145 be a good target for you all?
Feedback please, thanks!
Well Fuck!! Both Residences are sold out!! Come on guys I am dying here I need to get this room, AHH!!!!!!! <franticly pulls out hair>
I am having a problem with the booking of a hotel mostly because I am not sure how close some of these hotels are. Usually I just use expedia or whatever but their booking doesnt go that far forward. So can someone help with numbers or addresses of some close ones that arent on the PP homepage?
Thanks
Ian
Heh, they asked me why the sudden surge in reservations that w.e. and I filled them in.Me: "Hi, how much for one reservation for October 3rd through the 7th, 2007"
Receptionist: "Oh, for Prog, huh?"
The Residence on 17th is booked? Was it for a specific type room or completely booked?[/QUOTE
At least the suites are.
Ian,
If you use Travelocity, you can do an advanced search by address. Plug in Center Stage's address and it'll tell you just how far away each hotel is. Pick a random date just to get the hotel list. Once you get the list, go to the hotel's sites directly (or call) to book.

Well this sucks it doesnt appear as if there are any suites left anywhere within walking distance.
Damn, that's pretty crazy... a couple years ago they used to still have rooms available right up until the fest...
ProgPower USA will be held October 5-6, 2007.
I apologize to Rene at ProgPower Europe over any problem this may cause him. I just realized it was the same weekend after I had already confirmed the move with the bands, venues, hotels, etc the *second* time.
