How big are your superchunks? How do you want to cover those? I´ll have to build some of those pretty soon.
And... don´t you need those two power outlets?
Hey, the superchunks are the normal isover panels cut in half and then cut diagonally again. The standard panels are 160 x 62 cm I believe..
I won't cover them directly because there will be huge diffusors (2meters high and about 80cm wide) in front of them. So I will only cover them with the tripple protection, then build the diffusors right before them and cover the diffusors with the frames I used for everything else.
Yeah the power outlets are still accessible at the moment, the second picture is the other cornertrap actually
I will have to move them when I build the diffusors, though.. not sure if it's possible because of the way the diffusors are built. I can't just build the outlets in the side of the diffusors. There are plenty of other power outlets in the room though (and two seperate circuits).
Finally how did you deal with the authorities? What if they stop you to use the studio because it's in a residential area? Do you do an insurance for the clients?
Here we have the same fuckin' burocracy that obstruct instead of helping you to start working...really lame
Still dealing with them, I get help from a tax adviser and soon an architect.. we'll see how it goes. Chances are relatively good they will allow it because there is no noise outside and there's room for about 300 cars in the garden (and it's easily accessible).. so no parking problem - that's what they feared most apparently. I have to write a documents explaining in detail what I do, how many people will be here at most, etc etc. If they don't allow it that means I can't use the studio for commerial purpose - officially at least. My options would then be stabbing all of them or bribing
But there's no reason not to allow it, it's not like I have a big shop with hundreds of customers coming each day - I know several people who work at home and changed the official purpose of some rooms in their houses from residential to commercial.
Yes I am about to sign a contract for a third-party liability insurance, that's absolutely needed.
You're right, instead of helping fresh businesses they make everythign super complicated and hard to get. We have this thing called "economic freedom" that says you can choose whatever job you like and start a business for whatever you like in theory, but it's just not true at all.
