Questions about Logic 9....

I didn't mind the clean guitar models or the mid gain models. But I couldn't find anything High gain I liked. And have they included any new drum kits. Couldn't find a real good metal drum kit I liked either. I know I should go out and buy Upgrade to 9, buy DKFH and and some guitar amp modeling software to use in Logic. But if they made a lot of good improvements in 9, the $200 upgrade would be money well spent. At least until I can afford more upgrades.

i havent spent a lot of time with the amp sims, but i dont think you are going to get a lot of use for metal with them. that said i wouldnt want to use modellers as final guitars on any release so it does depend on what you want from it as it may suffice just for tracking (and then reamp after).

you should definitely upgrade to logic 9, even if its just for the editing and track consolidation/import/export features.

cool. I was mainly just interested in it for demo and writing purposes. I use a UL and an ISO for anything else. Thanks!
