Nah your not the only one. as i said before i like it an think its a decent but obviously not as good as appetite or use yr illusion albums. i think its a bit long an could lose a few songs

Basicall, its it had just come out when it was supposd to (1996!!) then it probably would've been rather acceptable.However, spending millions of dollars and 13 goddamn years on it only to give us ONE CD of crappy music with a few good bits here and there? No no no no no no NO

Again, try some death-thrash. It may be more to your liking.
However, if you just want death metal then get the following;
Morbid Angel - Domination, Altars of Madness
Obituary - Cause of Death, World Demise
Gorguts - Considered Dead
Terrorizer - Darker Days Ahead
Pestilence - Testimony of the Ancients, Malleus Maleficarum, Spheres (Testimony and Spheres are some fucking fine albums similar to what you're after)
Massacre - From Beyond
Bone Gnawer - Feast of Flesh
Entombed - Left Hand Path, Wolverine Blues, Morning Star
I'd still recommend giving some death-thrash a go though, since it's basically early death metal plyed really fucking fast. Try:
Demolition Hammer - Tortured Existence, Epidemic of Violence (EoV is the heaviest album ever made)
Protector - A Shedding of Skin, The Heritage
Solstice - Solstice (sometmes referred to as 'The Sentencing')
Blood Feast - Chopping Block Blues

look into revocation for death-thrash. the vox aren't my thing, but the instrumentation makes up for it.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I find Revocation kind of lame. They're GOOD but they pale in comparison to all the others
