Also, apparently Amanda Tapping is going to be in Atlantis next season.
Or the Million Dollar Baby parody, or Danny Devito playing Russian Roulette in an eyepatch. Danny Devito made that show even better than it was before. "It won't unbang your mom"
I don't think I've seen that, but 'Million Dollar Baby' is a fucking depressing film.
AGREED. Though I do reckon Carla's always been cute, she's certainly no Elliot. On that note, one o' my favourite ever scenes...

Yep, I saw it when it aired here months ago.
I was a bit disappointed, to be honest. Yep, I heard the Tapping thing, I reckon it would be pretty cool. A new series is in development too, but it's maybe a few years away. Sounds cool though.

They're makin a couple sg-1 straight-to-dvd movies, one apparently baal goes back and time and makes it so sg1 never exists (which is kind of irritatingly similar to an existing episode, though maybe it will be better because Baal will be in it, and Baal is awesome), another will tie up the Ori story, which the finale didn't really cover at all.

Of this I was aware. RDA features in one of them, but I'm not sure which. One has completed filming, the other started in May, I think. It's pretty exciting. The bizarre thing is that SG1 has not actually been totally scrapped, which means popular DVD sales may mean it comes back in some form.
My personal hope is that these movies tie off the series in as awesome a way as possible, and they leave it there. Making Atlantis even more bad-ass should be the primary aim, not fucking around with SG1 and never giving fans any closure.

Agreed. Though I never really got into Atlantis, but I've enjoyed the episodes from this season I saw.

I was rather fond of the Sci-fi Invisible Man as well. The series ended far too soon (as is what happens to most of best things on the Sci-fi channel)
