Funny you mentioned it. I was but a wee child of 7 years when it aired, and I liked it then (probably just because of space ships and shit blowing up). I had been meaning to check it out again for a while, since I only had a vague recollection of it. I dloaded the whole series recently, and watched the first few episodes. Its so cheesy but so awesome.

Yep, it's quite lame. The trepidation surrounding the aliens was top rate though. I don't know if this occurred to you but I felt that Starship Troopers owed alot to that show.
