That's what I say. Great series. I suppose I should have clarified. I watched it in syndication on "the" WB. I knew something was fishy. I didn't register it as a Sci-Fi channel production.

for me
what makes a good show is characters you love in a non-romantic/non-sexual way
where you feel bad when the character is sad or pissed off
why i like smallville is because the comepletely changed the character development of clark kent
in the previous incarnations, superman understood he was an extra terrestrial, saw himself as superior to the human species, and clark kent was a representation of how Kal-El saw the human species
but in smallville, clark kent is peter parker, in terms of character development
