On Sacrilege (UK):

The first album is pretty raw crusty punkish speed/thrash, the second album is more straightforward thrashing, and the third album is doom. The first two were reissued together like a year ago.

i never listen to doom metal...the only band i know is candlemass and black sabbath...anyone have any reccomendations for doom metal? i don't know how much i'd enjoy it with my love of trash and fast death metal (suffocation is great death but too slow which is why i think they are better than Dismember but i like Dismember more)\

so doom metal please

I'll recommend you some death/doom then.

First off the four bands most often associated with the style, otherwise known as "the classics" of it.

Anathema:
Crestfallen
Serenades
Pentecost III
The Silent Enigma

Turn Lose The Swans
The Angel and the Dark River

Paradise Lost:

Draconian Times

Katatonia:
Jhva Elohim Meth... the Revival

Brave Murder Day

And now some just generally very good bands (some are my favorites, others not.)

Daylight Dies
No Reply
Idle
Dismantling Devotion

diSEMBOWELMENT

Transcendence Into The Peripheral
