If you say so. Nexttime I will say I don't like polyrythm and do not find it interesting, maybe polyrythm has something to do with why I do not listen to jazz or like meshuggah . who knows. I have no trouble using the technique regardless not knowing much theory.
I just don't like it and it's annoying to my ears.
Meshuggah's actual riffs aren't that difficult, its their complex use of polyrhythms and intentionally fractured timing that makes them so complex and hence, technical.
It's probably not all that hard to play Meshuggah by ear, but if you were to try to play their songs off of sheet music it would be insanely difficult.
Anyone know any bands similiar to "Dark Lunacy". They are death metal, but use a string quartet in their music also.
Take a listen: http://www.myspace.com/darklunacy
That's correct. I'm really looking forward to their new cd this year.I like Dark Lunacy, but I don't know alot of similar bands, maybe try Winds, but I think they only use clean vocals...
Could anyone rec me some good thrashy power metal* type stuff, preferably with clean vocals?
