Dark Medieval Times, which is quite good
The Shadowthrone, which sounded cheesy and stupid
Nemesis Divina, only listened to about 15mins of it, seemed ok.

Agreed. They fit quite well in the "they have their moments" category for me. But all in all, I tire of them quickly...and being no fan of the so-called "Black 'n Roll" trend, the newer material really just doesn't do much for me.

I'm a quite big fan of Satyricon. I prefer the first three albums, though I hold no bias whatsoever towards the new music. Caught their recent UK tour which was pretty worthwhile.

However, they pale considerably against Satyr's Wongraven album.

Aside from DMT, I really liked their split with Enslaved.

I LOVE Dark Medieval Times. It's such a great album. I have to get their other 2 "trooer" releases though. I really like Volcano too and Now, Diabolical is just alright, not bad but definitely not great.
