oh and due to the recommendations of you guys, i hecked out Norther. i got like 10 songs....and HOLY SHIT!!! im gonna buy and album as soon as i see it in the music store.

they sound like a mix of bodom music and Imp naz vocals. i fucking love it. i reall like the covers of Skid Row and Final Countdown too!


another band people might like, along the vein of older In Flames, is a band called Lothlorien. cool band, cool songs. Sorrowsoul is a fav song.

I've checked out all the recommended bands, and I like norhter the best, but as I expected, It doesnt compare to Bodom!! But it's always good to find more great bands!!

hey, I know another cool band: Blackhole (i guess noone knows them )
well, they're not exactly like Bodom but more Power- or Speed-Metal. And they have clean vocals mainly. In fact, they sound a bit like Gamma Ray (great band) or Helloween.
I didnt find any of their songs on any file-sharing-networks, but you can download some full songs from their homepage http://blackhole.metalk.co.kr/
btw: you will not understand some of their lyrics, because many of them are Korean (Blackhole are from Korea)

I heard dispatched a while ago, and I guess there is somewhat of a Bodom resembalance, but when I first heard them It didnt make me think bodom, so I guess the resembalance isnt that big, to me anyways.

just got the norther cd....
it's weird how two bands that sound similar both make a cover of Europes "the final countdown", the norther version is a more direct replica of the original while dispatched speed it up to true metal form...hmmm, a great cd though, last breath is probably my favorite song at the moment...after one listen anyways....

I guess the subject is self-explanatory! I just wish I knew of more Heavy Power Metal Bands like Bodom, They kick so much ass.

I think Eternal Tears Of Sorrow and Kalmah are like CoB. Two very excellent bands, one of which stemmed from the other's breakup.
