That's basically how I've (and most people I've played with) have always played in the past. However, if its really bothering people I won't play like that- I don't want to control the game or will my favorite albums to the top. But serveral times I've asked if people wanted a rule modification and the response has been lukewarm. I think it would be better to have a rule rather than deciding that some arbitrary point at which some decide its bad form to vote for the same album.

How about this: a player cannot vote +2 for the same album three times in a row.

Sound fair?

I'm fine with that or a modification thereof: A player cannot give the same vote (positive or negative) to the same album in back to back votes.

If other people agree then I'll add it to the list of rules. But it needs to be more than just you and I agreeing to a rule change. I would like others to give their input.
