The problem I have with TOL is that the good songs on it are really fucking good. At First Light, The Killchain, Anti-Tank, and When Cannon's Fade are among the best songs they ever released after For Victory. The rest of the songs are kind of boring though. Fortunately, the album is short enough that it never really feels dull.

War Master is the album I see a lot of you guys worshiping and I think it's one of their weaker albums.

Besides IVth Crusade being lower than I'd personally like, it's a strongly ordered list imo.

Mercenary being dead last is perhaps a little weird. I think it's at least better than Honour Valour Pride and I definitely prefer it to the debut myself.

Mercenary is the one I’ve listened to the least, so lack of expsosure could be a factor, but it didn’t seem to offer much new. Not the strongest production either. While In Battle There is No Law is obviously not amazing, it does offer a really cool sound at times, especially during guitar solos, which sound like they’re occuring in a vacuum. As for IVth Crusade, it drags a bit for me, though all and all is still pretty solid.

Anyway, I’ll start posting the results tonight. Been a busy as fuck week at work and I’ve had absolutely no time.

The IVth Crusade has one of Bolt Thrower's best production jobs, Mercenary is up there production-wise also for me.

I would say if an in crowder hates an album there's a good chance the album is actually good. Goes both ways I guess.

Bolt Thrower are one of those legendary death metal bands that feel underrated to me.
They're obviously very popular though.

Overhyped =/= hating it. It's not last on my list and I wouldn't call it bad. I won't even say IBTINL is bad, but it's definitely not my style.
