i think i ranked the s/t higher than load tbh but i rate them pretty similarly yeah. the thrash on DM probably is better than the 'thrash' on the black album, 'through the never' aside, but thankfully there's all the more respectable non-thrash on the latter to bump it way above. metallica's thrash stuff post-AJFA is generally pretty embarrassing to behold. it's time to disappear-ah already.
