That's all a matter of opinion. Personally, I don't see how a Megadeath album can be compared to Stormcrowfleet. The later, in my opinion, is a true work of greatness. Others may feel the exact oposite way.

If it adds any weight, Stormcrowfleet is considered by most the greatest funeral doom album ever, and myself and many others would argue its the greatest album in the history of doom metal period.

That's stretching it somewhat. They sorta share the funeral doom throne equally with Thergothon's full length honestly (though I personally prefer Stormcrowfleet), and, while it would probably be my favorite doom album, it simply can't compare to things like Master of Reality or Epicus Doomicus Metallicus in regards to a list like this.

HOWEVER, look what we have here, those other albums aren't on this list, so your retorts are hardly relevant. As for the people that don't see the doom in Skepticism, I thought that was only Mort, and, frankly, it was an utterly idiotic argument. (Let's see, if something not sounding like Black Sabbath makes it not doom, then I guess Hvis Lyset Tar Oss and Transylvanian Hunger aren't black metal because they don't sound like Venom or Mercyful Fate. One of the most bullshit arguments I've ever seen on this forum).

Crystal Logic/Stormcrowfleet/Quietus

Since Avrigus is intent on placing an Alchemist album amongst the greatest metal albums ever, I'll just hurt Quietus instead in hopes of replacing it with another great metal album so I can vote for something less controversial than Stormcrowfleet and please the crowd that would much prefer Rust In Peace or w/e...
 
This kind of sucks now that it's hard to get rid of fringe (at fucking best) albums, and instead resort of having to vote on other fringe albums (Leprosy) since they just beat the meager alternatives.

I think this game is better served by dividing it among four or five genres, since you already have factions here, and it's remarkably hard to know all of the albums on the list at a given time.
