I'd probably throw a few votes at Cyptopsy and Immolation. I respect Queensryche but have never got into them. Meshuggah and Helloween have had major influence on their respective genres, so go for it, but I'm not really a fan of either.

In the context of thrash it is limp-wristed. Just one of many mainstream-aspiring thrash bands dumbing down their riffs to uninspired one-note chugging and Metallica worship. Aggression-less thrash is pretty much worthless unless one gets into more melodic power/thrash or prog/thrash bands.
