I think this system would work better if people weren't allowed to vote positively for the same things twice - they could either vote for something on the list or suggest two/one other albums.

As it is, everybody is going to keep to their favorite albums and the one who gets to post the most, without anybody particularly disliking his choices, gets his albums in the top.

I can think of three ways to counteract a single person voting an album on.

1) No album can be enshrined without at least two people voting for it. This way if one person single handedly votes an album to the top, he will still need another's vote to get it enshrined. He'll have to convince someone else the album is worth a vote.

2) Only one of the albums a person votes for can be an album they added to the list.

3) What you suggested- people can not vote positively for the same album twice.

What do people think would work best? Or do people have other suggestions?
