My list:

Immortal - Pure Holocaust
Immortal - Battles of the North
Immortal - At the Heart of Winter
Immortal - Sons of Northern Darkness
Summoning - Dol Guldur
Summoning - Stronghold
Mayhem - Chimera
Emperor - In the Nightside Eclipse
Dimmu Borgir - For All Tid
Borknagar - Quintessence
Borknagar - Empirisicm
Bathory - Blood Fire Death

I love Immortal . . .
I like Immortal well also.
Why does no one mention Damned In Black? That is one of my favorite Immortal albums. I never thought of Heart of Winter and SOND as black metal. :p

I also like Darkthrone - Ravishing Grimness, but I see it is not well respected here either. I find Plague Wielder slow and boring. Transylvanian Hunger was okay, and Under a Funeral Moon was better, but not great.

I will give Burzum - Filosofem another listen, I didn't like it at first.

Bathory must have been really different on earlier albums compared to Nordland. I have Nordland and hate it. :yuk:

Do I have to? :erk:
Blut Aus Nord- The Work Which Transforms God
Burzum- Det Som Engang Var
Burzum- Hvis Lyset Tar Oss
Burzum- Filosofem
Countess- The Shinning Swords of Hate
Dissection- Storm of the Lights Bane
Emperor- In the Nightside Eclipse
Emperor- Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk
Nargaroth- Herbstleyd
Xasthur- Nocturnal Poisoning

Venom - Black Metal
Venom - At War With Satan
Burzum - Hvis Lyset Tar Oss
Immortal - Pure Holocaust
Immortal - Battles In The North
Immortal - At The Heart Of Winter
Emperor - In The Nightside Eclipse
Emperor - Anthems To The Welkin At Dusk
Darkthrone - A Blaze In The Northern Sky
Dimmu Borgir - Enthrone Darkness Triumphant
Dissection - Storm Of The Light's Bane
Dissection - The Somberlain

Other than Demiurge(spelling?) and Guardian of Darkness these posts are hilarious.

DMDS is only the best if you haven't heard a lot or any other black metal. Attlia's vocal style i don't mind but the album gets fucking boring. Gayhem's best release though and it's cool to play every once in a while.

Anyways...

Burzum - Det som et Gang Var
Burzum - Burzum/Aske
Burzum - Hvis Lyset Tar Oss
Graveland - Thousand Swords
Darkthrone - A blaze in the northern sky
Darkthrone - Under a funeral moon
Darkthrone - Transilvanian Hunger
Aryan Terrorism - WAR
Holocausto - Campo De Exterminio(I know they aren't really black metal but back during their day they were considered black metal)
Judas Iscariot - Heaven in flames
Koldbrann - Nekrotisk Inkvisition

Are a few of my personal favorites.

I can't say enough good things about Weakling - Dead as Dreams. If you haven't heard it, then uh.. you should get it because it's fucking amazing. I'll try to compile a list later.

I definately disagree, and I consider myself having heard quite a lot of black metal actually though of course with extremely much yet to hear.

... and I own these from the ones you mentioned and have heard the others except Holocausto. Since I don't find my two Graveland albums that good I haven't bothered getting any others.I might some day, though
