Definition of sold out : Band gets played 80% over the radio, TV ,and 20% they tour, and sell merchendise ,and sell albums.

Let me tell you idiot somthing, its the band's choice what songs will they have on the album , they write those by their feeling and their musical knowledge, they dont need to write a really really really fast song for the fans if the band doesnt like it. the bands put out song what they like !

I don´t get it either. The fact that they have turned playing more harder songs and thats a sell out? Someone should start thinking before writing... And not writing about things that he/she doesnt know. It´s the same as some people are saying new cob is numetal. This has nothing to do with it...

Less melodies, heavier riffs = sellout.. I'm sure COB would sell a lot more by doing Hatebreeder2 like all you fannies wish. It looks like the majority of people want to see melodic and complicated songs which made COB popular in the first place. Dislike the new stuff, I couldn't care less. I just think it's pretty obvious that this is not only the heaviest album to date but also the hardest COB album to get into (as your mixed reactions prove) and very far from a sellout.
I bet his English is a lot better than your Finnish. And btw, "English" is spelled with a capital E, professor.

So basically AYDY? is hard to get into, it lacks melody, the riffing is pathetic, the slow songs don't work and suck ass, drumming lacks charisma, solos are disturbed, and overall it's too mainstream..
This is just another direction and style, clearly it depends on taste whether you like it or not.. But if the album was all melody with fast guitar play, more cheer up, then it would be another maybe Hatebreeder pt.2.. Not all people think that's the top core, just get over with it.. Hatebreeder isn't the kind of stuff that grown up people can listen to, apart from a few exceptions..

i've been writing and recording my own music for almost 9 years now, i'm a guitar player, and i'd like to think, in that amount of time, i've gained a little bit of knowledge of music... chances are you don't even know what harmonic minor/phrygian dominant means. and if you haven't heard the new album yet, you are in for a huge disappointment. you'll be eating your words when you hear it.janez79 said:

I know what harmonic minor and phrygian dominant means cause I've learned it, teaching myself guitar licks and techs. And I think all of the guitar solos on the new album kicks ass. And The ones on the slower songs such as Punch me I bleed is just as good as the solos on Angels don't kill and everytime I die. It's very melodic. The whole album is in fact. They've just moved a step closer to Trash/Punk. Not nu metal. And they are not sellout at all. Even bands as Death changed their style over the years and became more open to the public eye. That doesnt mean they sold out. It's just a matter of what you want to play. You grow very tired of playing the same shit every day. Same scales and same fucking solos. Everybody dose.

Youre 23 and I´m 17 and you CANNOT tell what is NU METAL or SELL OUT! All these Idols/popstars bands are SELLOUT bands, and thats only because thats what they are meant to be. Aaargh i dont wanna discuss this anymore with you cos i don´t have a clue what I`m writing here. But I bet have being bullied by other kids youre whole life and now you wanna be the king who knows everything about everything in music & music industry.
