Well, their own creativity does at the moment. Their new MCD "Black Light District" does not reflect what The Gathering used to stand for once. It's more like a sound-collage than anything else and I hope their upcoming full-length will be "normal" again. I mean, they can get softer than on "How to measure...", they can get heavier than on "Mandylion", I don't mind, but please, do make MUSIC again!

I though Nighttime Birds was the strongest album, song for song, but theyre doing what they want to do. I'd rather they were fucking about with noise and ambient sounds than rehashing their old ideas. I really think they need a bellydancer live as well. And some mullets wouldn't be a bad idea for the German marketing 5-year plan

Having his opinion is a fact , but easy judgement is another.

i can only agree with Strangelight' previous post...except i don t have a damn idea of what a mullet is
