but whats this all about ?
a FORUM on the internet suppose to be a place where everybody can talk and participate, and sometimes you'll see people with pointless remarks or idiotic replies...
you can easily PM him and ask him to stop the spam...
BUT the best thing is to just ignore it, if you dont like it...
i dont know this "PROFANITY" dude,
but to open a thread about him / or an official "fuck off" thread
is just as pointless.

yeah I know - I tried pm'ing him but all he said back was "interesting" - and really I'm just venting, it's been a bad week I did get a little carried away. I have no problem with him being here and I don't think I own the forum - but I know who does own the forum. Nevermore and Century Media pay for this forum. I'd just like to see more than "interesting" and "yes" from this guy. Also the "now playing" thread abuse was really getting to me (for the reasons I listed)

I dont care for many of the folks from the OT forum because most of them were assholes to me and i no idea why...i used to post over there when it was still connected to the Opeth forum but after awhile i knew i wasnt welcome...i came here because one i like Nevermore and two, those people didnt come here and people were very nice to me here...now i see some of the OT people here and some of them like Aecliptica and Pancakes are ok but.....others arent....i havent read a post from Profanity for awhile because i put him on my ignore list but i know his presence is bugging everybody...we have enough spam as it is, we dont need more...naughtical spam is ok and im sure the mods agree but like i said in some other thread, when the resident spammers get bothered by someones spam, you know its getting bad...Profanity should try to contribute a bit more instead of like one line posts all the time...if not, maybe he just needs to go back to the OT forum..

lol dude. a public lynching \m/ we should take a vote. 1 member= 1 vote. everyone makes their vote publicly, not in a poll. that way we can eliminate the straw votes. well leave it open for 24 hours, and after that, he should be banned. forever.
