Oh shit, that big dude made Reacher look small.

I was surprised how small Reacher actually is. The dude is shorter than me. They must have spent all of series 1 filming him from his knee caps looking up. S2 I don't think they made such a point on it.

I expect them to go back and remake each of the movies with Alan Ritchson and make them watchable.

Technically, Alan Ritchson is still smaller than the book description of Jack Reacher. Lee Child had Reacher at 6'5" and between 235 and 245 pounds while he was still writing the books.

But while I did like the two Tom Cruise movies, Alan Ritchson fits the physical description of Reacher far better. And as big as he was in Season 1, he bulked up and got even more massive for Season 2.

Just finished watching The Night Manager starring Hugh Laurie, Tom Hiddleston and Olivia Colman, based on the John La Carre novel.
Not a bad 6 part series. a few twists and turns. Apparently they've got the go ahead from Amazon to make a series 2 and 3. Hiddleston will be back and Laurie will produce but there is no suggesting Laurie's character will be back.

Finished all of Dexter the other day but I was feeling too burned out to go straight into New Blood, so I decided to watch a miniseries. Just randomly decided on Ripley and finished it off last night, turned out to be really great!

I watched the first ep of Dexter Origins last night. The casting is quite good, although Dr ER. looks fucking terrible.
Hard to judge things from one episode but it does feel a little bit like kicking a dead horse for story lines and the use of a noted character to sell it.
