The Political & Philosophy Thread

aug agrees more with...
religion - L
immigration - C
snowden - L

the fed - C

although i acknowledge the validity of the conservative side's points and thought they were better speakers, less government and free association of individuals (but NOT open borders), fiscally conservative yet socially liberal is the superior political philosophy

i like that they agree on a lot of things like the free market and being against the welfare state. any one of these guys would wreck a liberal lefty or democratic socialist

I don't really see the email thing as a big deal, and my only problem with Clinton on Benghazi (assuming this still just refers to the terrorist attack and not the overthrow of Gaddafi) is that she immediately blamed a YouTube video over it. Her scandals aren't nearly as bad as what she does openly and without fear.

Ugh, you said like a page ago that we're like a European state not within Europe. I'm sure we've got a fuckbunch of stupid old laws. Merkel pandered to the Turks because she wants them on side on the refugee debacle. The shit has hit the fan because of it though, it's not like it's gone unnoticed.

If you think a western leader trying to censor people's speech online as well as asking the CEO of facebook to censor people around the world's speech is just a commonplace thing to do, then I guess you're privy to information I'm not.

She's quite exceptional in how terrible she is, whether we have old laws or not. But I said we're like a European state here because we're a disarmed populace that loves our nanny government and is scared by the prospect of doing anything on our own. We have such a massive government at this point that if an American small government conservative lived here for awhile they might commit suicide, except they'd have no gun to do it with and in death they'd probably get fined for not taking their own safety seriously enough.

But that doesn't mean that I think we're so similar to a European state that our freedom of speech would get sold out because a bunch of economic migrants decided to molest some women, fortunately we still have loud mouth politicians here that haven't fully been purged by the European style PC cuck pussies.

Though that cunt Andrew O'Keefe could well be a sign of the future, I hope he drowns in his own leeking brain fluid.

I think that politicians passing laws that make it illegal for people to speak out against their mistreatment of asylum seekers is just as bad as anything Merkel has done.

I much prefer the style of government here than in the states and I'm glad that Joe Fuckhead can't buy a gun here. I had to google Andrew O'Keefe, I'm not familiar with him at all. I don't really watch commercial TV. What does he have to do with this?

He just represents to me a general kind of attitude in this country. Of course you prefer this government to an American-style government, the average Australian is scared of fundamental freedom.

I think that politicians passing laws that make it illegal for people to speak out against their mistreatment of asylum seekers is just as bad as anything Merkel has done.

There is such a law?

I believe fundamental freedom is the right to arm yourself in order to defend yourself. If you can't even keep yourself alive and defend your home and family, everything else is meaningless.

I don't really wanna get into your fellating of America.

Stupid thing to say.

This isn't really comparable to the Merkel situation, as this act seems to only pertain to those working for the government. Though reading this I oppose the act, it's still not the same as you did imply above.

I feel for you guys down in Australia, don't let your European parent states mess you up. Just learn from the walking 200th trimester abortion that is Canada and you'll be good.
