The School/Uni Thread

I agree. I have heard about females in their late 20's and 30's getting breast cancer.

I've never had a real, on the books job my entire life.

I work as a janitor at a church (yes, I'm aware of the irony), I get $200 a month, and I live at home while I'm attending school, so my only expense is gas to travel to and from school, so I usually have a good chunk of money to spend on music...though sometimes it seems that I spend a lot more than I have.

well, I make 750$/week after all the deductions and it always seems like I have no money. :err:

Thing is I never have problems finding new expenses. I sometimes wish I could make the same money while living with my parents. Just 1-2 years like that and I could have a lot of money to make a downpayment on a house or something. But then I realise I can't stand living with my parents for more then a week-end and they live 2h30 from here...so that makes an easy decision.

How much do you get an hour, and how many days you work? Cos 200 a month is shit.

How the fuck do you survive on $200 a month? I get paid $700 and I can't afford shit >_<

Apparently you missed the part where I have essentially no expenses. Free living quarters, free food, free utilities, free car insurance even (though that was part of a deal between my parents and I for settling for a cheaper university). My only expenses are gas and oil/steering fluid for my car. The rest I spend on myself, though I should be saving it. I'll probably actually work this summer though, I've already applied to a few places.
