Not my picture, my friend's, but it was so fucked up I figured I'd share it. His mailman bent his LP to fit it in his mailbox because he was too lazy to place it by the door, and he went to the post office to complain and seek compensation of some kind and it was denied to him because the package didn't have a "DO NOT BEND" sticker on it.

Government employees are fucking filthy and shameless.

AP reps are my favourite type of government employee these days. Go through the right complaint channels and those guys will kick anyone's arse in the delivery chain to get a satisfactory outcome for the customer.

It's a bit different here. I've seen a case here where the postie used some random stickers they had on hand to cover over a "do not bend" on the packaging, as if they were insulted at being told what not to do. But I don't think they actively bend things here, so if something gets bent they'll automatically say the packing was insufficient and it's the sender's fault.
