yeah you definitely need to at least check out the first ones. Just make sure you watch the uncut version of Friday the 13th. The next two are pretty cool too(3rd ones my favorite). But i'm a huge fan of the series so you have to take that with a grain of saltany. i have seen bits and pieces of them over the years, and i definitely saw one of the friday the 13th movies while drunk with friends, but i don't remember much. i remember someone putting hellraiser on at a party too but my attention wasn't on it.
my parents always talk about how much they shat themselves when they first saw nightmare on elm street together so it's kinda weird i haven't watched it.
I still love all the absurdly gory black-comedy types of horror films (unintentional or otherwise) but I've definitely been more interested in checking out more atmospherically creepy horror films as of late, like the ones I included on my list, and basically a lot of "what you don't see" kind of shit. Anyone have any recommendations?
