actually, as I've come to understand, WoY took their name from a park near David Gold's place near a place called "Ypres Road" which I assume was named after this battle, but the name has nothing directly to do with Ypres in France, itself.

you're right, I just remembered the thread. And the blue light on the cover of the Against the Seasons rerelease comes from the big blue light in the middle of the park
