haha, lurch... come drive the port-ukee highway and try and refer to your highway as pothole heaven. Some of the potholes are as big as your car, because the fucking road is falling into the lake (they're finally starting to fix it). heh, I've gotten my car up to 100 once or twice and it was pretty scary, not having a roof and all. Back in the early 90s I had an Escort GT (bwahahaha) and had it up to around 110 down a huge hill. 143mph was my max, jesus piss that was fast. Somewhere around 130mph the flux capacitor kicks in and things get a little weird in my car.

Highway 38 coming back from Big Bear Mt. around 1am on a Wednesday morning. Loooooooooong straightaway after about 45 miles of switchbacks. Above 130mph things get weird, believe you me. Only held the top speed for about 3 seconds before letting off the gas. God damn ruled.dorian gray said:

haha seriously, to make a car safe at high speeds costs ALOT of money. That's why Porsches cost $90,000. You don't want a bolt to come loose at 140 mph
........just got a fuckign speeding ticket for doing 70 in a 50 last night ... that is fucking so gay as 70 is the norm on hwys here ... but there was nobody around .... just me ... and there he was in the turn ... the Hwy Patrol ... a real fucking cowboy too, i knew I had no chance to talk myself out of it
