I was bored today, so I decided to work on a logo for my friend's band, since he needs one, even though he probably won't use mine.

Here's a shitty photo of my first hand-drawn idea:

As you can see, I was an idiot and used pen, and I didn't initially have a concrete idea of what I wanted. The o was royally screwed up, but it's not meant to be a finalized logo or anything, just a rough idea of one.

Then I went over it, filling it in with paint and highlighting it in white so you can see it more clearly, while touching up some spots:

Then I did major touch up work and whited out the background:

Then I moved over the t and changed the o and moved it over as well, though I'm still not happy with it:

Basically, I just wanted to give my friend an idea of what to do, because he was having the guy from Funebrarum do the logo, and his looked really shitty. It's not meant to be neat and perfect and symmetrical. If my friend does decide to use it, it'll obviously have to fall into the hands of somebody who knows what they're doing.

I actually like it now. I fixed all of the symmetrical errors, and then I had my brother look at it and he suggested that I have the line that is extending from the E be from the middle of the E and not the bottom, and then I thought about that line...I actually like it a lot.
