I just realized that EVERYONE I know and speak to listens to metal except one person. No joke. Except that one dude (childhood friend,) who does appreciate lots of metal but is not generally interested in music at all, every single person who I know, male or female, listens to metal, and most of them I would even consider metalheads. Make of that what you will.

as far as hair ... it was fun to freak people out with my then looks, but looking back at it ... I feel pretty stupid.

Metal is in the blood and has nothing to do with the way you dress.
