jesus christ, the roads were a disaster yesterday. i was at a market in NYC, and we left around 2:30... it took 5.5 hours to drive 90 highway miles. accidents and spun out vehicles all over the place. there has got to me an easier way to make a living

For a weekend getaway, my husband and I have journeyed to the town of Glen Rose, Texas, as it offers a wildlife sanctuary I'd like to see, riverbed dinosaur tracks I've seen before, and the crazy Creation Evidence Museum that he wants to see.

Here it actually looks like...Texas.

We visited the wildlife preserve today. They said not to hand-feed the animals, but really, what fun is that. (lots of pics of deer n' ostriches n' shitz)

This cracks me up. Nom nom nom

He liked the petting

There were also some zebras and giraffes, but they didn't give enough of a fluck to come up to the car.
