Thank you. :)

My personal highlights:

Dark Age
now what a nice band, not only excellent musically (melodic death metal), but also very charismatic... a frontman that actually smiles instead of trying to look as grim as possible... wooo :dopey:

Dark Fortress
they looked a bit ridiculous with their corpse paint in the bright afternoon sun, but that didn't change anything about the fact that they kicked ass

Primordial :worship:
awesome, even though the drums sounded a bit tinny this time

Rotting Christ
the rhythm guitar was missing, but still

End Of Green

Hypocrisy

hmm ... those are really cool. I like the fact that you do not have a single pic of the bands playing ... and I am not joking.
that shit gets tired ... the pics you have gave a good vibe of the event ... i think you have something going there, some new angle of documenting rock gatherings.

right on, totally agree with you.

we were just talking with Zod and Gugs this past weekend about going to shows on weekdays as opposed to weekends. Personally I like weekday shows as whoever tries to make it to them, is usually a big fan of the bands involved usually making for a good gig ... weekends brings the people that just want to hang out as well.

also, concert videos ... the best ones IMHO are the ones that show the crowd going nuts as much as showing the band ... it gives for a better vibe and really captures the event. Of course if the crowd is lame, the day they shoot the concert ... well ... we have all seen those videos.

yeah, i'd go in reverse order. no sense in learning a language before suberging yourself into the culture. i mean, you could spend 2 years learning it from books on tape and then totally miss the dialect you end up in. i'd rather move and then learn the language by sink or swim in like a month.

my ace in the whole, I know 3 fluent german speakers and my dad lived/worked all around germany for about a year when he was my age :p then did a few other parts of europe for a few years

and by learn german... i meant the basics:

where is the shitter?
i'm lost and don't know where I am!!!!
i'm hungry and can't find food.
i'm thirsty.
i'm horny
wheres a good bar?

i think i've found my calling:
