There are attractive women who are into metal and actually have personalities and don't just listen to it to get attention

That must be from planet of the apes. I always thought it was stupid that they only sent one woman with the crew. I know modern space flights often do that, but they have like, zero chance of landing on an inhabitable planet and surviving if things went wrong.

They haven't, I didn't say that. I mean, if some moon mission went awry, they'd probably just die or something, they wont get to land "somewhere else" and go native, so it doesn't matter irl.

Yeah, but the kind of people that spout his shit tend to suck at people, especially those of the opposite sex, so it's a bit hard to convince them of this.

I won't deny my male-dominated interests have gained me points with dudes. But it was never on purpose, I grew up since age 2 living with only my nerdy dad and my guitarist brother, never had a positive female role model. These things need to be taken into consideration before you judge people.

Yeah, but are you posting pictures of yourself provocatively to get attention or do you let your interests speak for themselves? HUGE difference there and I'm more likely to believe someone who does the latter.

People who think pornography is degrading/objectifying to women. I have one word as to why this notion makes those who believe that ignorant.

Fetishism.

There are hundreds upon hundred of fetishes. Some of these DO involve degradation. Degradation is different in the context of sexuality than it is in real life. People ENJOY this sort of thing including the porn stars themselves. I'm sure there are women and men who do not enjoy being porn stars but those men and women do not stay in the business for long.

Beyond that, just about every fetish in existence is addressed in porn. This is a business we're talking about here and those involved THINK about these things. Even the most shameful fetishes like pedophilia are represented in legal porn with alternatives (people who are of age that look younger, for example). Rape fantasies that people cannot find anyone to share with can watch consensual non-consent acted out in porn. This is a business that stops rape, child molestation, and people who commit suicide for living with fetishes they cannot ever act out. Anyone who thinks porn is destructive and wants to prevent it from being made and people from watching it is a bad person in my eyes.

I've never found that porn was better than my own imagination, it's just easier when you're sat in front of a computer.

Attractive women who claim to be into metal.

They are either models or attracted to men with long hair. Without fail, these women are covered in tattoos and almost all of them are underdressed in their pictures. They pedal and sexualize the image to get attention. End of story.

Attractive women do not need something like metal to turn to when they're surrounded on all sides by the opposite sex from the time they're 12 years old. They don't understand what it's like to be anti-social and they don't know what it's like to be nerdy about something because they are and always have been preoccupied by male attention. Attractive women have a predisposition for a social life that doesn't require the personality perks that men need to stand out to women.

I don't buy these fakes for one single second.

imo if you've ever been to a concert, have any friends into metal, or listen to metal anywhere other than your bedroom/mom's basement, you can't appreciate the true anti-social experience that is metal. 99% of men that think they like metal only like metal culture and "brotherhood", fucking poser fags, all of them.

I've been to shows and have seen it before. It's always completely transparent with the denim vests covered in too many patches, bullet belts, etc.

This is almost always the case with women, on the Internet or elsewhere. Like I said, it is easy for attractive women to come into this music to whore themselves. I don't think I'm being sexist whatsoever in saying that women develop a habit based on the way the opposite sex views fhem. This is what they do outside of subcultures as well and it's not entirely their fault. They're just less susceptible to being antisocial and therefore unaware of what it means to be nerdy about such things.

I actually think you're speaking way too objectively. For the record I've been into metal since I was 15 and I went to an all girls school most of my life(besides college), so who would I be trying to impress walking around in band tees or dressing differently in an all-girls school?

Most of my friends (especially my close ones) aren't into metal at all. I've been posting on anime forums and metal forums since… 11 years old (yikes!) and most of them I actually kept my identity hidden except for this one and to a select few people in the ones before this. Being into things most people aren't into isn't a way to get attention and hey I understand the girls who legitimately are interested in this stuff and would like a place where they can express themselves and speak amongst other like minded people. Attractiveness, honestly, is just a facade. You can be attractive but that doesn't mean you have a ton of friends and get a ton of male attention, especially if you're just some weirdo who has little to talk about in regards to most pop culture and views dissimilar to the people around you.

I personally suffer from a bona fide narcissistic personality disorder, so yeah, I DO think I'm pretty awesome and sexy and stuff. It's a great disorder, its a wonderful life.

I think I get your point though MF. I know some chicks that have never been into my music when I show it to them, and now that they're with dudes who are, they've begun donning the band tees and wearing baphomet necklaces and shit. I know one girl in particular who got a fuckin Bathory tattoo when two years ago she had never heard of them. The nerdist in me seethes at that kind of shit, mainly because I want friends who dig the stuff I dig and they're lying to me just as much as they lie to the dudes they wanna bang.

For what it's worth it's pretty obvious to tell when someone doesn't actually like the things you do and is pretending. It's kinda annoying but let's be honest, it doesn't change a guy wanting to stick his dick in you. A girl wearing a Bathory shirt is still a fucking girl wearing a Bathory shirt, poser or not.

I went to an all male high school. Cheers!

I think most guys would rather a girl be wearing nothing.

Really, I mean eh to a point I guess you're right but I feel like just a little bit of clothes can do more for some girls than absolutely none. I mean if you're a model that's great and all but most people aren't and don't go for the whole bleached butthole look... Point being, a nice choice in underwear can do a lot for anyone. Never mind if you're going in for penetration.
