The Whining and Bitching Thread

Straight talk.

If you come on a plane with all your luggage as fucking carry-on and none of it fits in the overheard compartments, or under your seat, your next course of action isn't to keep trying to fit it in either area for the next five minutes as everyone is trying to board.

Your next step should be ending your own fucking existence.

Yeah man. It's amazing. I remember feeling OUTRAGE when American Airlines started doing "bistro bags" instead of hot meals on longish domestic flights. Now it's like, a fucking miracle if you get a soda and some dried fruit.

So glad I didn't end up becoming a Delta flight attendant.

United/Continental has had an awesome cheese and meat sandwich served with Bret's Chips and mustard and some Irish cookie thing for at least 7 years on USA-Europe flights. I realize that is international food but I just wanted to remark that it's good, and wonder who else has tasted this jewel of the skies?

Also awesome food on Korean Air and Japan Airlines on international flights. KLM served Korean food between Seoul and Amsterdam that is good, and FREE ICE CREAM for coach class if you walk up to the cart yourself.

There is nothing worse than looking for a used car. Private sellers are shady, dealers are even more shady and even the people who aren't shady aren't rational or reasonable when it comes to negotiating a price. It's stressful and wonderful way to waste your time and money with no reward. Especially when you have to bike/ take public transportation to see the cars...

It's definitely helps and it definitely saved me from buying one car that may have had th miles rolled back on it, but still no luck on finding that magical car that is in good condition and for sale at blue book value. I'm taking a few days off from car hunting because it was just getting too frustrating.

I'm hating this car shopping business. Looks like I will be renting again this week and then I have to attend traffic court Thursday morning. :( ALSO, the vehicle that was totaled has been sitting at a junk yard for over two weeks. I haven't been able to get it or just have the tow place take the care because the title is not yet in my possession.

This week is going to suck, suck, suck.

Lately at work I've been dealing a lot with stressed technicians who have high call volume, and they use my ticket queue for a dumping ground when someone can't remember their password or was never given a password for such and such file or application.

A lot of times the problem is that the person calling them has no idea how to use this application properly (not my job to teach them or know how to use the 1100 in-house programs my company uses). Sometimes they luck out and I know how to use it.

Sometimes I get tickets with Titles like "User Needs Access to Adobe Acrobat" because someone doesn't know a password for an encrypted PDF.

I've started complaining about this to my boss and forwarding her examples, opening conferences with these technicians and their managers, offering to create FAQS, offering to host training sessions. Fucking sick of this shit.
