You don't need a new keyboard. Hold ALT and push 0233 on the number pad. It won't work on the number row across the top though, so if you have a laptop, push the numlock button and refer to the blue numbers on the right-hand letter keys.

Yeah the last time I got my Peavey Grind set up my friend who was doing it for me at Guitar Center told me to just dick around with their stuff. So I hooked an EBMM Stringray up to my future rig and played for something like 2 hours.
