Which is 1/3 of my complaint. I'm tired of people telling me "Hey! I'm a Satanist! Fuck Jesus! Bla bla bla!" I don't care. You probably aren't. It's not a game, it's not to upset mommy and daddy. Ah, fuck it. I'm just getting myself worked up. It's no different than someone who likes Dimmu Borgir and Slipknot and not any other good bands telling you they're a metalhead, ya know?

They're being bigger idiots than the very religion they're going against. They're worshiping a mythical being on the grounds that it's badass and evil rather than a less idiotic reason like believing in going to heaven.
It is rather dumb to complain about though. Although I do meet at least one of these guys every time there's a crowd of metalheads at a record store and we have a huge conversation. Typing rants is fun though.

I dont understand truly worshipping Satan at all.
If you believe in God enough that you would actually worship his evil counterpart... why would you want to send yourself to a guaranteed eternal torment in Hell? Do you think just because you praise him that Satan will grant you leniency? Isnt that the whole point of Satan? To decieve you?

Well, the point of Satanism for a lot of people is a stance against authority. I understand where you're coming from, but most people simply see Lucifer as a symbol of rebellion. There are a great deal of Satanists who don't believe in Lucifer in a physical sense; they merely worship the image of individuality.
That said, I admit that it's kind of ridiculous to call oneself a Satanist simply because he or she believes in individuality. Can't you just say you're an individual? It seems kind of hypocritical to claim to be an individual but adhere to a belief system that countless morons belong to.

First of all, I agree. The individualism=Satanism is gay. Second, theistic Satanism does not believe in Satan like you hear bout in the Bible. It's not just inverted Christianity. It has nothing to do with God at all. I don't believe in 'God'. I don't believe Satan is 'God's' enemy. Forget about Christianity. That has nothing to do with Satanism. Lucifer/Satan is the god of enlightenment. This predates any Christian belief system. It's too complex to explain in one post. I don't feel like it anyway.

this was my hang up too. they all claim to be individuals, however there are strict guidelines they everyone is supposed to follow. with LaVey satanism, you shouldnt do drugs and whatnot. so much for being an individual and doing what you want.
some people just need to be told how to be an individual...

The bumper thing was my fault... I was too far in the yard and ran over a cemented into the ground brick covered in high grass.
The deer though... was completely unavoidable. Fucker ran into the side of my car and destroyed the fender and busted the headlight.
